The answer is NO.
NO is a complete sentence.
NO does not need a reason.
NO does not need an explanation.
We don’t give a reason or excuse for YES. Then why do we feel compelled to give a reason, excuse, explanation for NO?
The answer in NO. Feel the power of NO. Hold your head high, put your shoulders back, take a deep breath, the answer is NO.

You hold the power -NO. Say it, taste it, believe it… NO. You will not compromise your spirit. You will not compromise your value as a human.
The answer is NO.
When I was a young girl of 12 or so, my mom started her life journey as a person in her own right. That was when she told me…NO is a complete sentence. NO does not require an explanation. What a concept in the early 1970’s! NO. Has served me well as a woman, a human, a spirit.
I’ve shared this with many women in my life over the years, they’ve been young and not so young.
There have been times in my life when I compromised myself… that was always my choice, conscious or unconscious. In the end, I’ve always remembered, the answer is NO, with my head high, shoulders back and my spirit unwavering. Those abusers/ bullies backed down. NO. Is a complete answer. It doesn’t require an explanation or excuse.
YES. Honor yourself as a spirit. YES. You have value. YES. You are remarkable.
Validate yourself. If you don’t, no one else will.
Live your life. BREATHE.
