Breathe
What an amazing and interesting year we’ve been living. The highs have been high and lows have been low. There are times when you’re not sure what you should believe or who should you listen to. The news reports of our world are negative, mean spirited and doomsayers. We’ve become addicted to our phones, laptops, instant information that we choose to believe is the gospel truth. We spew our fears, desperation, helplessness of our lives into the void of… where?
By taking a few minutes each day (or several moments during the day) you can reclaim your life, your spirit and yourself. Take time (right now) to sit still with yourself, without distraction, take a long deep breath. BREATHE… slowly exhale… let the day go… BREATHE… slowly exhale… allow the noise and chatter that is no longer useful to leave your body… BREATHE.
You can do this in the car, without music or news, at a stop light or while you’re in traffic. Turn the radio off, put your phone down… take a nice deep breath…. notice how your body will relax and some of the stress of your day lessens. BREATHE… live your life
